²⁶ Look! He speaks publicly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers indeed know that this is really the Christ? ²⁷ But we know where this Man is from. When the Christ comes, no one will know where He is from.”

²⁸ Then Jesus, still teaching in the temple, cried out, “You know Me and you likewise know where I am from. I have not come on My own authority, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.
